Ganis Angger Atmawarin
Ganis is SoftwareSeni Managing Director whose work spans in editorial, design, marketing, software developement and project management. Born and raise in Sorong, Papua, he then studied at Economy Gadjah Mada University and English in Sanata Dharma University. Ganis has been working in a variety of design and development positions and won award at Citra Pariwara BG Award at 2007 before move into Akubu, a Jakarta based iphone and android apps studio. In 2013 he decided to back to Yogyakarta working in SoftwareSeni and once he did he never looked back. He loves the city and the community, and together with the team build a business that he belives in.
Co-Founder & Director
Ian is our local Director for SoftwareSeni in Indonesia and a co-founder of the business. He was instrumental in setting up the Indonesian office, putting in place process, and hiring resources. Prior to SoftwareSeni he was a co-founder and CEO of a Jakarta based IT services company. He has 8 years professional experience in outsourced web development, 4 of those years in C-level positions. Ian is Bachelor degree qualified in Computer Science and has a Masters Degree in Finance.
Co-Founder & Director
David is a director of SoftwareSeni, and the Managing Director and Founder of Villalet.com, a villa rental business focused on the Asian market. He has worked in online businesses since 1996, most recently at Fairfax Media where he was the Managing Director of a portfolio of web businesses acquired by Fairfax including RSVP, Stayz, InvestSmart, and Australian Property Monitors. David’s specialisation is product development and strategy and in this role he was responsible for developing the businesses to take advantage of Fairfax assets, as well as identifying new acquisition opportunities. His prior roles at Fairfax include Chief Product Officer where he was responsible for the 150 person product development team and the technology function, and Director of Strategy and Operations for the Employment, Real Estate, and Automobile businesses. In his early roles at Fairfax, he led product development for The Sydney Morning Herald, and The Age websites which won numerous AIMIA awards, and cemented Fairfax’s position as the leading online news organization in Australia. Over the last 19 years, he has co-founded and worked in a number of start-ups including Memetrics, acquired by Accenture, and ninemsn during the company’s startup phase in 1997. David holds an MBA from University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from Macquarie University.
